Mirrors.

Using mirrors to create a sense of more space is a trick of interior designing. Mirrors help to give a sense of greater space by reflecting light, brightening up a room and can fool the eye into thinking there is a greater amount of space than there real is.

Mirrors have lots of uses which can include Bathrooms, Wardrobes, Hallways and Dressing rooms. Commercial mirror have been installed in Fitting Areas, Dance and Yoga Studies, Fitness Centres and Restaurants.

Mirrors can come in 4mm, 5mm and 6mm thicknesses, and can be supplied with Flat polished edges which gives the mirror a smooth finish on the edges.

Mirrors can also have bevelled edges from 10mm - 40mm depending on the mirror thickness and can also be made with sand blasted edges.

Mirror can be glue fixed or screwed to the wall using mechanical fitting and mounting frames.

Our Mirrors are customer made to your size and requirements and we can either supply only for the DIY person or supply and install.

Glass Table Tops.

There are two basic types of table tops to consider.

Glass table tops that are fully supported over their entire area.

These glass table tops are the perfect way to show off your finished table surface, while protecting the finished surface from ware and tear. They are custom made to the shape of the table top being covered.

Glass table tops that are not fully supported over their entire area.

These glass table tops can be used as a floating table top allowing clear view to the floor while supported in selected areas of the overall surface. Toughened glass would be used for these types of table tops to ensure they are as safe as possible.

Glass table tops in general.

The table tops are custom made in various shapes (square, round, oval, rectangle with square corners and radius corners) and various sizes. For special shaped table tops often a template will need to be made so we can get the shape correct.

Glass thicknesses can range from 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm depending on the size and use of the table. Glass colours are standard glass, which has a green colouring in the glass, which is the most common used, through to grey, bronze, green and for a near perfect colouring low iron glass. Not all glass colours are available in all glass thicknesses.

Glass edge work at a minimum would have Flat polished edges which gives the edge a smooth finish. Glass can also have bevelled edges from 10mm - 40mm depending on the thickness of the  table top.

Glass Shelves and Shelving.

Like table tops their are two basic types of shelving tops to consider.

Glass shelves that are fully supported over their entire area.

These shelves are the perfect way to show off your finished shelf surface, while protecting the finished surface from ware and tear. They are custom made to the shape of the shelf being covered. 4mm glass is often used but will depend on length and width of shelving.

Glass shelves that are not fully supported over their entire area.

These glass shelves can be used as a floating shelf allowing clear view to any cabinetry while supported in selected areas of the overall surface. Different glass will be required depending on the span of the shelf and it must overlap its support by at least 4mm.

Span to width radios exceeding 7:1 are not recommended and weight loading should also be taken into account.
